YAY!

Well I am done school. My last exam was on Friday April 24. I think I did well..so far my marks have proved that statement true. I have gotten three marks back and I am happy about them! Now that I am a free women, for at least two months, I must find something to do with my time. I am sure work will fill up most of that time. I am going to do some volunteer work as well which is exciting! I love volunteering, I don't do it enough, perhaps that will change once school is finally over, done for good! Right now I am sitting at home doing nothing. I am watching cheesy teen movies from the 90s. Full time work hours have not kicked in yet so I am trying to find the ways to fill my day. If you have any other suggestions on how I can fill my days off please let me know!

Random thoughts

I have been feeling nauseated the last couple of days. There is no way to explain this, if you are thinking pregnancy you are wrong, there is no way that is possible. I just don't feel well. Maybe I am getting the last of everyone's flu/cold that is going around.

I had a doctors appointment in February to get a physical. I got a call from the doctor yesterday saying that I need appointment to go over my results. I am not sure if thats a good or bad thing. If it was urgent I am sure they would have called me a month ago, but at the same time it can't be nothing or why else would they call me. I guess I will find out next Thursday. I hope its nothing serious!

I am at school feeling sick and bored! I really just want school to be over. I still have an assignment to finish, two take home exams and two exams to write. The motivation is quickly fading, I hope I can last another week!

I am nervous about school being officially over. After August 15th I will no longer be a student which means be a grown up and having a real job. I am not sure what that job will be and I am scared to think that I won't have a grown up job ever. I have never had one, and I hope I will be able to find one once school is over.

Home Sweet Home

My sleeping schedule can return to normal at last. A is home from his long, long drive. Our "new"car works like a gem...well as good as a 91 honda can work. I have also moved up in the class ranks. You now are looking at the owner of a car which has power locks, windows, AC, and cupholders. If you say hi to me on the street and I do not say hi back, check the status of your car, it might be because you do not have the luxury of these items. Of course I kid, but its nice to have these items, but most importantly a car that works...YAY!

Alone

Well its 1230 am and I should be sleeping as I have to get up in the morning, but there are two things preventing me from going to bed. One I am not that tired, but two, more importantly, is that I have to sleep by myself. This will prevent me from sleeping for the next four days. A is out of town and well its hard to sleep without him when I have gotten used to sleeping with him. Some people might see it as a blessing because they can sprawl out and don't have to worry about sharing the bed, but I don't sprawl anyway and I like sharing the bed. Its going to be a long four nights. I know I sound so pathetic because I am whining about my husband being gone for a measley four days and some people suffer through their spouses being gone for weeks at a time, but those people are braver than I. While I am an independent person who can live by myself I just don't like to. When A is gone for a few days I miss him. Call me pathetic if you want to but thats the way it goes. Really four days is nothing, I spent two weeks away and that was hard enough. Anyway I am sure the four days will go by super fast and he will be home before I know it. Until then I will just have to find a way to fall asleep without him so when he gets home I am not unrested and cranky

Gum Free

Now that the snow is for the most part melted away, at least on sidewalks and path ways, it is much more noticable how littered they are, especially of gum. Gum is all over the place and it looks gross. If we banned gum that wouldn't be a problem. I know you are thinking ban gum??, thats not right, but Singapore is one of the cleaniest places in the world and guess what they don't have gum!! Gum is banned from Singapore, and although I haven't done a ton of research on Singapore, I am pretty sure that not having gum has runied any lives. Just a thought

Hello Baby Face

Today was a sad day for the Graham household...well more like a sad day for me. For the last six months or so A has been sporting a beard. He grows one for the winter, and shaves it for the spring/summer/fall. Today was the day of shaving. I love the beard, of course I love him w/o the beard, but the beard is my favorite stage which is ironic b/c its during the winter which is not my favorite season. Anyway when I realized what he was doing this morning I cried a little. I know it sounds silly, but its true. Of course I am over it now and I have bigger things to worry about than my husbands facial hair, or lack of, but for a few mins it was sad. I will get used to the younger, baby face A until next winter. He looks good w/o the beard, but he looks really really good with it!

To good too be true!

I currently have a love-hate relationship with mother nature. She has screwed me over on an important day! Well its not the most important day, but for me it was going to be a fantastic day! But noooooooooooo I had to live in an area where mother nature's business is all around my fricking fracking house. Yep thats right no satellite tv for me because I like to live among trees. It has not been the happiest afternoon ever, but I will get over it. I guess basic cable is the alternative. I knew when I saw the Satellite TV advertised at a home show for such an amazing price that it was too good to be true!

The day has come...

Today is TV day! Finally after a year of no cable, or even random local channels A and I are getting satellite TV. While having no tv has not compeletly runied our lives, it will be nice to be back in the loop on things. Like the news for example, we listen to it in the car on our way into work/school, but we don't get the full whats going on around the world news. When people say "oh wow did you see that on tv", we can finally say why yes I did and here is what I think. Or, "hey did you see that on the news"..of course I did, who didn't?! I will be able to watch Grey's Anatomy with the rest of the world on Thursday nights. I know this sounds silly to most, but after not having tv for a year this is pretty exciting!! If I am absent for a while you know where to find me! I am sure the novelty will wear off eventually, but for now TV land here I come!
